Challenge

This project demanded an intelligent retrofit lighting solution at WORQ, a co-working space located in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur.

The client wanted to automate lighting to enhance control and flexibility, minimising unnecessary usage of lights in the event hall and common areas. The main challenge was to work within the limitations of timing in a bustling co-working office environment.

Solution

In the context of a co-working environment where minimising operating costs is a top priority for management, we proposed a cost-effective solution to maintain the existing traditional switches and integrate conventional lights with Loxone. This integration not only allows users to turn the lights on or off through the Loxone app and set specific schedules for automated lights, but also provides the flexibility to control lights from conventional switches.

This approach endows the smart office environment with scalability and ease of implementation, while also enabling energy savings. It highlights the capabilities and prowess of the Loxone system, making it suitable for both new and retrofit projects.
