Exosphere:
Create & manage databases
Our central hub for automation project management, monitoring, and visualisation is growing in strength. Exosphere makes it simple to create, manage, and display databases going forward. For instance, this makes it possible to record Wallbox charging sessions, automate billing, and log across sites.
Two new modules: Database Event Connector & Database Session Connector
The Database Event Connector and Database Session Connector configuration modules are used to construct and populate the databases in Exosphere. Events are things that happen all at once, like when someone pays for something. Charge at a Wallbox is an example of a session, which is a process having a start and end date.
Use case: Internal company billing
As an actual example, let’s look at an internal billing service: Exosphere creates a “Billing” table that contains goods, quantities, customer numbers, and other billing information.
Employees register the products they have taken by scanning the NFC code on their customised NFC cards. The Event Database Connector is then used to move the reservation to the Exosphere database. Data from every place is maintained centrally there. It’s now easier than ever to generate reports or transfer the data to a third party for billing.
More powerful improvements for Exosphere
The most recent release adds more Exosphere optimisations in addition to new functionality for building and maintaining databases. Stability, performance, and security have all been substantially improved, and an enhanced user interface guarantees even more intuitive usage. There are also now more options for analysing and showing statistics.
Honeywell Security Interface
for intelligent, certified security solutions
Intelligent security: Completely integrated and always accessible. We give our partners a smart, certified security solution that is simple to connect, fully integrated, and all in one app with the Honeywell MB-Secure integration into Loxone building automation.
The integration of VdS-certified alarm systems into a Loxone system is made possible via the recently released Honeywell Security interface. This enables you to service even the most exacting clients in the business sector as a Partner.
The MB-Secure is added to Loxone Config via IP address, and with the “Smart Building” license, the connection is instantly operational. The integration process is straightforward and adaptable.
Because digital interfaces allow direct connections and central controllers, such as a Miniserver, may handle several systems at once, integrating systems reduces the number of components required. By replacing separate parts, multipurpose devices reduce expenses and make installation and maintenance easier.
End users gain access to a straightforward, fully integrated solution that shows alarm status and notifications within the Loxone app. Every building becomes smart and safe as a result. within a single system.
Broadcast mode for the DALI Extension
Devices can now be controlled by the DALI Extension using broadcast. This makes commissioning and replacing devices that perform the same function more easier. A Broadcast command is developed that applies to all linked devices rather than addressing each DALI device separately. For instance, there is no need for further setting or relearning if a light needs to be changed.
Automated email delivery of loggers
A log file’s contents can now be automatically emailed by email. For instance, this makes it easier to bill your company for your Wallbox because they will be instantly notified about the monthly charging sessions.

Integration of Gardena devices
You can now easily include lawn mowers, irrigation systems and other devices into building automation thanks to our updated interface with the Gardena smart system. This guarantees error-free, automatic green space management while saving time.
